To Blog or Not to Blog

Greetings Gentle Reader –
The past few weeks have been a marathon of multi-tasking. My day job threw some bottom-of-the-ninth curve balls, I scaled mountains of homework (I’m earning my second Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology for my day job), then delighted in family vacations.
The downside to these many adventures is a limited amount of time to paint. When given the choice between blogging about painting and actually painting, I choose painting.
Essentially, then, this is a blog about not writing blogs. BUT, I’m determined that this will not become one of those well-intentioned endeavors that gathers dust after the initial novelty wears off.
So bear with me, gentle reader. I might not blog as often as I would like, but I am still painting! Here is what I’ve been working on:
Sahara – Initial layers of titanium white are dried! Under-painting started.
Cloud Study – Initial cloud shapes applied. Waiting for the clouds to dry so I can apply the glaze.
Various “just for fun” studies and sketches.
Here is a teaser from the Cloud Study. More to come!
